Link in bio for Teachers The class, the week, and the hour you can be reached.

Families do not need a teacher link in bio that looks like a creator storefront. They need the grade, the subject, what to look at this week, and the contact route your school actually allows.

I help independent practices explain what they actually do

Writer and advisor in Milan. I sit with architects, editors, and small studios until the work can be said in a sentence a stranger would trust.

Milan

Practice

Studio advisory, in writing

Most independent practices do not need a rebrand. They need language that matches the rooms they already make. I work in conversation, then on paper, then — only if it is useful — on the site.

How we begin

A month of interviews and editing. A positioning note you can actually use. Optional: a one-page site, often on SayHi, so the public version stays as quiet as the work.

What families actually tap for

If the district already has a portal, link it. Do not rebuild the grade book on a personal page.

Class and subject

Grade or course, and the school if you are allowed to name it. “Educator and lifelong learner” tells a parent nothing about tonight’s homework.

This week for families

One note: the permission slip, the unit, the thing they asked about in the pickup line. Replace it next week.

Office hours

Day, time, and whether that hour is for students, families, or both. A link to a scheduler only if the school uses one.

The school

The official site for closures, the directory, and the portal. Your page is the classroom door, not the district.

District-approved contact

Some schools forbid a personal form. If so, print the official address and skip the contact block. If the form is allowed, say who should use it.

A classroom note, not a brand

Editorial gives the weekly note room to be read. Elena’s portrait is a stand-in. The sentences have to become the class.

01

Name the room

Period, grade, subject. A parent with two children in the building needs to know which page this is.

02

One current note

The archive of last semester’s newsletters can be a link. The top of the page is this week.

03

Respect the directory

If families are supposed to use the school email, the page should say that, even if you would prefer a form.

Not the tutor page

Teachers

A class you already have. Families, a school site, and a weekly note.

Tutors

A subject you sell by the hour to people who are not already on your roster.

Templates for this work

Editorial

A weekly note needs a reading width. This is the layout to start from.

Minimal

If the page is three facts and a school link, and the note lives elsewhere.

What a link in bio is for. The URL is the one link a newsletter or a slide can hold. The guide is the general job. This page is the classroom version.

Publish the page

Ask what the school allows

A personal page that contradicts the directory creates a second, worse channel.

Write this week in four lines

What is due, what to bring, who to write. Delete the inspirational quote if it pushes those lines down.

Leave student work off unless you have permission

A public URL is public. First names and projects can still identify a child.

Questions

Can this replace the school portal?

No. Link the portal for grades and assignments. Use the page for the note and the hour that the portal hides in a menu.

Should I put student photos on it?

Only with the permission your school already requires. When in doubt, leave the faces off. SayHi does not know your district’s release form.

Can parents book a conference here?

Only by linking the scheduler the school uses. SayHi does not book meetings.

How is a teacher page different from a tutor page?

This one assumes a class and a school. The tutor page is a subject, a level, and how a family starts hourly work.

What if I teach more than one prep?

Name each course in a line. If the weekly notes diverge, link a second block per prep rather than mixing the due dates.
