The order a hiring manager actually uses

They will give this a minute, maybe less, and they already have the PDF.

One sentence, not a headline stack

Role, material, and the kind of problem. “Product engineer who ships internal tools” beats a row of skills.

Work samples above the fold

Projects with a result in the sentence. Link the repo, the deck, or the live page. Three.

The résumé is a link

PDF or a doc you control. Do not retype the employment history into cards.

Social proof you can say out loud

A specific outcome, a talk, a thing someone else published. Not a wall of company logos.

Contact that is obviously contact

Email and the form. Company field on, if you want it. Put this where a skim still sees it.

Dark, short, and serious. A reasonable default for a hiring skim.

Minimal

When the writing is the sample and the chrome should disappear.

Make it yours

Write the sentence a recruiter can repeat

If they cannot say what you do after one line, the rest of the page will not fix it.

Cut the samples to three

The others can live on GitHub or in the PDF. The page is the edit.

Questions

Will this get me a job?

No page can promise that. It can stop a good application dying in a file that nobody opens.

Should I list every role?

No. Link the résumé. Use the page for the work you want the next conversation to be about.

Is this the student page?

No. Students are showing the making. This page assumes someone is deciding whether to write back about a role.
