Link in bio for Podcasters The latest episode, then the place to subscribe.

A podcaster link in bio should open on the episode you just talked about, then show where to subscribe and how a guest or a sponsor writes. It should not be eight identical pills for every app store.

Portrait of Rio Hale on a city street at golden hour

Rio Hale

Short films about ordinary nights

I walk around with a small camera and wait for the steam, the bus lights, the joke someone almost told. Weekly pieces from Los Angeles kitchens and sidewalks.

What this is

Not a vlog. Not a brand. A stack of three-minute films about the part of the day after the work lights go off and before anyone has decided to go home.

Say hiCollabs if the night is interesting.

The links a show page needs

If the show is a video podcast, put the episode in a YouTube block: your title and your still, opening the host. Playback stays on that host.

Latest episode

Title, the guest or the question, and the URL where it plays. One episode. The archive is a second link.

Where to subscribe

The app you actually want. You may add a second. You do not need a button for every directory that indexed the RSS feed.

Show notes

The site or the doc where links from the episode live. The bio should not retype the whole rundown.

Pitch the show

What a good guest pitch contains, and what you will ignore. “Be a guest” with no criteria fills the inbox with newsletters.

Sponsor sheet

Downloads you are willing to say, the ad formats you sell, and the email that is not the guest inbox.

One episode earns the subscribe

Rio’s page is a film. Treat the latest episode as that film: first, specific, and tappable.

The episode is the hero

People tapped because you said “link in bio” at the end of a cold open. The page should be that episode, not the trailer from 2019.

Subscribe once

Pick the directory you mention on the show. The others can sit in a smaller row or inside the show notes.

Two inboxes

Guests and sponsors want different things. If you use one form, say which subject line you will read.

The RSS feed is not the page

Listeners who already subscribe do not need this URL. The page is for the person who heard one episode somewhere else and has not picked an app yet.

Templates for this work

Creator

Mobile, because the tap happens in a caption or a story. Start here.

Musician

If the show should feel like a listen card: artwork, title, and a single play link.

YouTube link in bio. Video podcasts often live on a channel. The guide covers a featured video as a link, which is also how an episode block works here.

Publish the page

Update the hero when the episode publishes

A page that still features March in October sounds abandoned, even if the feed is fine.

Write the pitch rules

Topic, length, and the reason this guest fits the last five episodes. Say what you do not cover.

Keep sponsors off the guest form

A rate card link is kinder than making a buyer pretend to be a guest.

Questions

Can SayHi host the audio?

No. Link the episode on the host you use. A listen card or a YouTube block only stores the title and the URL.

Should every podcast app get a button?

No. One subscribe path, maybe two. The rest belong in show notes. Eight equal buttons ask the listener to do your editing.

How do guests pitch?

A form or an email, with the criteria on the page. The form is a name, an email, and a message. It does not attach a media kit by itself.

Is this the YouTuber page?

YouTubers feature a video and a place for a new viewer to start. This page features an episode, a subscribe path, and a pitch. Use the other one if the channel is the product and the podcast is a repost.

Can I collect email addresses for the show?

Point at the mailing tool that already sends the show’s letter. Subscriber addresses are not stored here, and the episode file is not sent from this page.
