Artists

A page for the work on the wall, not a design-system tour.

Commissions, a show, a shop link, and enough pictures that a curator does not have to ask for the PDF. An artist website is a gallery with a door. It is not a brand case study.

Portrait of Nia Voss in her studio

Nia Voss

Identity, objects, and the rooms they occupy

Independent designer in Brooklyn. I make identities that can sit on a shelf as well as a screen — books, lamps, marks, and the paper they begin on.

Brooklyn

Studio Voss

A small practice. Brand worlds, objects, and the analog studies that keep both from going glossy.

Cloth-bound brand book and material samples on a walnut desk

Atelier Lumen

2025

Identity and a cloth-bound brand book for a lighting studio that still pours plaster in-house.

Three abstract geometric posters on a white studio wall

Civic Marks

2024

A poster series of rust, cream, and charcoal. No slogans. The shapes had to hold a wall on their own.

Lamp No. 4

2025

Bone glaze, olive foot, a shade that does not try to be a sculpture.

Elsewhere

What an artist page has to hold

Nia is a designer in the other demo. Here the same stills are only the gallery shape: picture, title, a way to inquire.

01

The work before the statement

Image blocks and project blocks. A sentence under the picture. The manifesto can wait until someone already likes the object.

02

Exhibitions as a short list

A text block: show, place, year. Not a museum CV pasted in full. Link the announcement if it lives elsewhere.

03

Commissions without a shop

SayHi does not invoice. Email or the contact form is the inquiry. Say what you do and do not take.

04

A shop is a link

Prints and editions can point at a store you already run. The page is not the checkout.

Not the photographer page, and not the designer page

Photographer

An edit of pictures with captions about the series. The photograph is the work.

Artist

A gallery plus the practical door: show, commission, shop link, studio contact. The still is evidence, not the only product.

Portfolio

The pictures get the width. Start here for a gallery.

Editorial

When the order of the works is an argument and the captions are part of it.

Make it yours

Pick six to twelve works

Name them. A filename is not a title. Leave the rest in the archive.

Write the inquiry

What a commission includes, what it does not, and where to write. One text block.

Put the URL where the show already is

Instagram, a gallery site, an email signature. The page does not replace those. It gives them one address.

Questions

Is this the designer page with the word artist swapped in?

No. Designers on SayHi are arranging identities and objects as a practice. This page is a gallery, a show list, and a commission door. The demo stills happen to be Nia’s, and they are labeled as a layout, not as a fake painting series.

Can I sell prints here?

You can link to a shop. SayHi does not take payment.

Which examples match?

Artist website examples use this gallery shape. Designer portfolios are the other intent.
