People came for the work. The page should get there before it explains the practice.

Selected projects

Each project block can carry a still, a title, a year, and a summary. Four honest projects are enough.

The practice, in one card

A short text block for what the studio actually makes. Save the manifesto for people who already like the objects.

Process only when it changes the reading

A sketch or a material photo earns a place when it explains a decision. A grid of untouched process shots does not.

A way to commission

Email, social links, or the contact form. SayHi does not book calls or send proposals for you.

Bento

Different card sizes on one surface. Useful when the work is a set of pieces: a mark, an object, a sentence, a link.

Portfolio

The pictures get the width. Useful when a case study is mostly looking, and the sentence can stay short.

Make it yours

Pick the layout from the work

If the pieces are different sizes, start with Bento. If every project is a photograph of an object, start with Portfolio.

Upload the stills

Images are uploaded in the studio and served with the page. An image URL from another website is not accepted.

Write the line under the picture

Title, year, one sentence. The sentence should say what changed, not “branding, print, digital.”

Questions

Can I show case-study pages behind each project?

Not as separate pages. SayHi is one public page. A project can link out to a longer case study you host somewhere else.

Is the bento template only for designers?

No. It is the layout that fits work made of pieces. Designers are the clearest fit, which is why Nia’s demo uses it.
