Link in bio for Hairstylists Color or cut, the formula you can show, and when they should come back.

A hairstylist link in bio is the chair’s public note: whether you are booked for color or for cuts, a few formulas you have permission to show, and how far out a maintenance visit sits. It is not a barber shop menu with the word salon swapped in.

Identity, objects, and the rooms they occupy

The page, at full width

A modular grid is hard to judge inside a phone frame. This is the page at full width.

Identity, objects, and the rooms they occupy

Independent designer in Brooklyn. I make identities that can sit on a shelf as well as a screen — books, lamps, marks, and the paper they begin on.

Studio Voss

A small practice. Brand worlds, objects, and the analog studies that keep both from going glossy.

What the chair needs on the page

Nia is not a stylist. Portfolio gives the photographs width. Upload work you have the guest’s permission to show.

Color or cut

Which one this season’s books are actually open for. If corrections are a waitlist and haircuts are this week, say both.

Formulas you can show

Before and after only with permission. Name the service: lived-in blond, a cut and color, a correction. Skip the filter that hides the grow-out.

Book at the salon

The salon’s scheduler, and the name guests must pick so they do not land in a colleague’s column.

The chair’s address

Salon name, neighborhood, and the days you are there if you split locations.

When to come back

The week you want to see a color again, in plain language. “Maintain your investment” is not a number of weeks.

Formulas, not slogans

Barbers are walk-ins and a late rule. You are a longer appointment and a return date.

01

Say which book is open

Color corrections and bang trims are not the same availability. Write the one that is true.

02

Permission sits with the photograph

A public page is not a camera roll. If a guest asked you not to post the back of their head, it stays off.

03

Price as a range when the work varies

A correction is not a gloss. Give the range you quote in the chair, or say you quote after seeing the hair.

The salon still owns the book

If guests must reserve through the salon, do not also imply they can hold a chair by messaging this page. One booking door.

Editorial

If you write about the formula as much as you show it.

Instagram link in bio. The color was the post. The guide is the page that should say whether that service is bookable and when to return.

Publish the page

Name the service in the caption

Gloss, cut, correction. The photograph without the word is how people book the wrong length of time.

Point at the salon’s column

Your name, spelled as the software spells it.

Write the return in weeks

Eight weeks, twelve, “when the root is a centimeter.” Pick the sentence you say out loud.

Questions

Can a guest book on SayHi?

No. Link the salon scheduler. The page says which services the books are open for.

How is this different from a barber page?

Barbers publish a cut menu and a walk-in rule. Color work is a longer visit, a result the guest allowed you to show, and a return you measure in weeks.

Should I publish full formulas?

Publish the result and the service name. The bowl formula is your notes, unless you are teaching and mean to give it away.

What about a color correction price?

A range, or a clear “after I see it.” A single number you cannot honor makes the page a fight.

Can I show a client’s face?

Only if they agreed to a public page, not merely to a tagged story. Those are different permissions.
