Link in bio for Barbers The cut, the chair, and whether you take a walk-in.

A barber link in bio is a shop window on a phone: what you cut, what it costs, how to get the chair, and the rule when someone is late. People already saw the fade. They are tapping to find out if they can sit down today.

Julian Adeyemi

Narrative films and the quiet labor behind them

Director and cinematographer. I make fiction that still has dust in it, and documentaries about second jobs. London, with long stretches on the road.

Harbor Light

2024

A 22-minute fiction about a night ferry that does not quite make the other side on time. Shot on 16mm. Premiered at a regional festival that still prints programs.

Second Shift

in progress

A documentary about people who lock one workplace and open another before dawn. Interviews, then the drive home.

On looking

I am not interested in glossy darkness. The studio look here is about remaining quiet enough that a face still has somewhere to sit.

DeskFestivals, commissions, and the next road.

What the tap is trying to do

Lead with the chair. The product shelf is last.

The cut menu

Haircut, beard, the combo, the prices you actually charge. A menu of forty add-ons hides the number people came for.

Book the chair

The scheduler the shop uses. Say which barber this page is, if the shop has more than one.

Walk-ins

Yes on weekdays before noon, no on Saturday, or never. A vague “walk-ins welcome” fills the bench with people you cannot take.

Recent cuts

A few photographs you have the right to show. Name the cut if you can: low skin fade, beard reshape. Upload them. Do not hotlink.

Late policy

The minute you release the chair. Put it next to the booking link, not in a caption from last year.

A shop, not a personal brand kit

Studio is dark, which suits a shop photograph. Julian is not a barber. Replace the stills and write the menu.

Price next to the cut

If the price depends on hair length, say the range. “DM for price” is how the bio becomes a second inbox.

Which chair

Your name and days. If clients must book under the shop’s account, say the name they should pick in that tool.

Walk-ins are a fact

Either the bench is real or it is not. Update the line when football Saturday changes the answer.

Not the hairstylist page

Barbers

Cuts, beards, a chair, and a walk-in rule. The visit is often the same week.

Hairstylists

Color, a formulation you can show, and a maintenance visit measured in weeks.

Creator

If almost every tap is from a phone and the cuts are a short stack.

Instagram link in bio. The fade was the post. The guide covers the page that should answer “can I come in” without another row of apps.

Publish the page

Write three prices

The cut, the beard, the kid’s cut if you do it. Stop when the list stops matching the chair.

Name the late rule in minutes

“Please be on time” is not a policy. “Fifteen minutes and the chair goes to a walk-in” is.

Match the hours to the door

If the shop closes Monday, the page should not still say seven days.

Questions

Can someone book inside SayHi?

No. Link the shop’s scheduler. The page says which chair and what it costs.

Why isn’t a barber bio the same as color work?

Color appointments run longer, show a formula the guest allowed, and come back after several weeks. This page is the chair: a cut menu, walk-ins, and a late rule in minutes.

Should I list every product I sell?

Name the one you stand behind, or link the shop shelf. A catalog is not why someone tapped.

Can I take a deposit for a long appointment?

Explain it and link the tool that charges it. SayHi does not hold a card.

What if I rent a chair in someone else’s shop?

Say the shop name, the days you are there, and whose booking tool to use. The page can be yours without pretending you own the storefront.
