A personal website LinkedIn can point at.
LinkedIn is a directory with a résumé attached. The website field should open something a recruiter can read in a minute that is not a second copy of the Experience section.
Interface labels move. Checked 2026-09-24. Follow the field, not an old screenshot.
Where the URL goes
Contact info on a LinkedIn profile includes a website. Featured posts can hold more links. Use the website for the page that should survive after the featured posts scroll away.
The exact menu moves. Look for Contact info or the pencil on the intro, then Website.
What a recruiter should see
They already have the job titles. Give them the work and a way back.
- One sentence of positioning, not a list of skills.
- Selected work: projects, writing, or case notes. A few.
- Proof that is specific. A logo row is not proof.
- Contact that you will actually answer.
Do not paste the résumé
Job seekers have a page for the application shape. Consultants have a page for services. This guide is the LinkedIn field: one URL, pointed at whichever of those is true.

Elena Rossi
I help independent practices explain what they actually do
Writer and advisor in Milan. I sit with architects, editors, and small studios until the work can be said in a sentence a stranger would trust.
Practice
Studio advisory, in writing
Most independent practices do not need a rebrand. They need language that matches the rooms they already make. I work in conversation, then on paper, then — only if it is useful — on the site.
How we begin
A month of interviews and editing. A positioning note you can actually use. Optional: a one-page site, often on SayHi, so the public version stays as quiet as the work.
