What to put behind a Threads link in bio.

A Threads profile can show up to five links, and each one can have a title. Five titled links are still a list. A personal page tells visitors who you are and which link matters now.

Five links, still a list

On 15 May 2025 Meta’s newsroom said a Threads bio can hold up to five links. The official Threads account said the same day that you edit the profile on mobile or on the web, add a URL, and title the link if you want to. Before that update the profile had one link.

Each of the five is a destination: a shop, a newsletter, an essay, another profile. The title helps, and it is still not a page. The visitor has to pick without seeing your name next to the work.

Menu labels move. Look for the link control while editing the profile. The limit that has stayed put, and that was still being reported in October 2026, is five. A guide that still says Threads allows one link is out of date.

What the page should contain

Someone arriving from Threads has already read a short post. The page should name you, say what you are doing now, and make the other destinations smaller than the one that matters.

  • Name and one sentence that could not belong to another account.
  • The current project, post, or piece. One. The archive can be a link.
  • The other profiles, smaller than the work.
  • Email or a contact form if you want replies. Skip it if you do not.

Native links first, then one page

Use a Threads link when the title is the whole instruction: Tickets, Shop, Latest essay. Use one of the five for a SayHi page when the visitor should see your name and the current work before they choose. You do not need to fill every slot with a copy of the same list.

There is no Threads template and no Threads block. The Creator template is the mobile page already used for an in-app browser: identity, then the work, then the other links. Rio’s demo is a fictional filmmaker in that shape. SayHi does not post to Threads or read link insights.

Where this was checked

As of 12 October 2026. The five-link cap and the optional title are Meta’s, from the 15 May 2025 update, still printed on the newsroom page. This guide does not quote a Threads bio character count. That update does not publish one.

What this is

Not a vlog. Not a brand. A stack of three-minute films about the part of the day after the work lights go off and before anyone has decided to go home.

Say hiCollabs if the night is interesting.

Questions

Does Threads only allow one bio link?

No. As of 12 October 2026 a Threads profile can show up to five links. Meta announced that on 15 May 2025. Older guides that say one link are describing the product from before that date.

Can each Threads link have a title?

Yes. The official Threads account said on 15 May 2025 that you can title the links. The title is a label on a destination, not a description of you.

Does SayHi post to Threads?

No. The page can be one of the five links. It does not publish posts, and it does not read Threads link insights.

Should I use all five links?

Only when each one is a different destination. If the visitor needs your name and the current work first, one of the five should be the page, and the page holds the rest.
