Consultants

A practice page, not a capabilities deck.

What you know, who it is for, two case notes, and a way to start. A consultant website that reads like a proposal template is already losing.

The page, at full width

A modular grid is hard to judge inside a phone frame. This is the page at full width.

I help independent practices explain what they actually do

Writer and advisor in Milan. I sit with architects, editors, and small studios until the work can be said in a sentence a stranger would trust.

Milan

Practice

Studio advisory, in writing

Most independent practices do not need a rebrand. They need language that matches the rooms they already make. I work in conversation, then on paper, then — only if it is useful — on the site.

How we begin

A month of interviews and editing. A positioning note you can actually use. Optional: a one-page site, often on SayHi, so the public version stays as quiet as the work.

The four blocks a practice page needs

Elena helps independent practices say what they do. That is a consultant page. Yours should be as specific about the buyer.

01

Expertise in one paragraph

The problem you are hired for. Not a list of industries you would accept.

02

Services as outcomes

A month of interviews, a positioning note, a workshop. Say the shape. Do not say “strategic advisory” and stop.

03

Case notes, not a logo farm

Two projects: who, what changed, what you will not claim. Link the longer piece if it exists.

04

How a conversation starts

Email, the contact form, and what happens next. SayHi does not book calls or send proposals.

Coaches sell a relationship. Consultants sell a piece of work.

Consultant

A defined engagement. Case notes. A buyer who already has a practice or a company.

Coach

Who it is for, how a session works, and proof from people who stayed. Different promise, different page.

Templates for this work

Elegant

Quiet type for a practice that should not look like a startup.

Studio

When the work is closer to operators than to essays.

Make it yours

Name the buyer

“Independent practices” is Elena’s answer. Yours needs to be as narrow.

Cut the services to what you want more of

A page that offers everything teaches the reader nothing.

Write, and you will hear back within a week. Or: two new clients a season. Say the real constraint.

Questions

Can I take payment on the page?

No. Link to the tool you invoice with. The page explains the work.

Do you have testimonials as a block?

Use a text block and attribute the sentence. There is no review widget, and you should not invent quotes.

Is a custom domain required for clients?

No. Many people will still paste sayhi.page/yourname into a signature. Custom domains are not offered.
