What the Spotify block is not

It does not connect a Spotify account, embed a player, or read your discography. You choose the artwork and the URL. If you need the player itself, link to it. The page’s job is to be the place a bio link opens.

What you can actually put here

The useful version of a website for musicians is small.

The release

A listen block: cover, title, a subtitle such as “Album · 9 songs,” and a link to Spotify, Bandcamp, or wherever the music actually plays.

A video, as a link

The YouTube block is an image and a title that opens YouTube. SayHi does not embed the player.

Shows, written by you

Dates belong in a text block or a list of links. There is no ticketing or calendar connection.

The rest of the internet

Social links for Instagram, YouTube, or a mailing list you already run. The page does not send the mail.

Questions

Can I embed Spotify?

No. You can place a listen card that links to a Spotify album, artist, or track. Playback stays on Spotify.

Can I list shows?

Yes, as text or outbound links you write yourself. SayHi does not sync a tour calendar.
