Link in bio for Tattoo artists Books, flash, healed work, and the shop. In that order.

A tattoo link in bio gets tapped by someone staring at a healed photo. They need to know if the books are open, what you actually tattoo, where the chair is, and how a deposit works. A logo and a “link below” is how they end up emailing the wrong artist at the shop.

Portrait of Julian Adeyemi

Julian Adeyemi

Narrative films and the quiet labor behind them

Director and cinematographer. I make fiction that still has dust in it, and documentaries about second jobs. London, with long stretches on the road.

Harbor Light

2024

A 22-minute fiction about a night ferry that does not quite make the other side on time. Shot on 16mm. Premiered at a regional festival that still prints programs.

Second Shift

in progress

A documentary about people who lock one workplace and open another before dawn. Interviews, then the drive home.

On looking

I am not interested in glossy darkness. The studio look here is about remaining quiet enough that a face still has somewhere to sit.

DeskFestivals, commissions, and the next road.

Instagram already showed the tattoo

The tap happens after the photo. The page’s job is the practical next step: books, shop, deposit, aftercare. Do not repeat the caption.

The six things a tattoo bio is for

Julian is a fictional filmmaker. Studio is the dark layout. Replace his stills with flash and healed photographs you upload yourself.

Books status

Open, closed, or a waitlist with a month. Update it when it changes. A permanent “DM to book” is how people write you after you have stopped taking work.

Flash

Sheet, price, and whether those designs are repeatable. If a drawing is one-off, say so on the drawing.

Healed work

A handful of healed photos, with the placement and the year if it matters. Fresh photos alone teach people the wrong thing about how the tattoo settles.

Aftercare

The sheet you already hand to clients. Link it. Do not make them ask in a story reply.

The shop

Address, days you are actually there, and whether walk-ins exist. Guest spots need the city and the dates, then they come down.

Deposit

How much, what it holds, and the cancellation rule. SayHi does not take the deposit. Link the payment tool you use, or say you collect it at the shop.

What the page is not

The artist page on SayHi is a gallery and a commission door. A tattoo page is a chair with a policy.

01

Status before portfolio

If the books are closed, say that before the flash. People will still look. They should not think they can book Friday.

02

Style in concrete words

Traditional, fine line, blackwork, the thing you will refuse. “Custom illustrative” without examples is a shrug.

03

The shop is an address

A map link you write. SayHi does not embed a map and does not know your guest-spot calendar.

Templates for this work

Studio

Dark and quiet, so the photographs you upload can carry the page. This is the layout to remix.

Portfolio

If the healed work should be larger than the policy.

Instagram link in bio. Healed photos are the grid. The guide is about one designed page behind that grid, which is where booking status belongs.

Publish the page

Set the books line

Open or closed, in the first sentence. Everything else is secondary until that is true.

Upload the work

Studio uploads only. A hotlinked Instagram CDN address will be rejected.

Put the deposit rule where the status is

People skip footers. If the deposit is non-refundable inside 48 hours, that sentence sits next to the booking link.

Questions

Can clients pay the deposit on SayHi?

No. Link the invoice or shop system you already use. The page can explain the amount and the rule. It cannot charge a card.

How do guest spots work on the page?

Write the city and the dates in a text block, and take it down when you leave. There is no tour calendar to sync.

Should flash prices be on the page?

If the price is real and current, yes. A sheet with no price generates messages that only ask the price.

Is this the same as the artist page?

No. Artists on SayHi are showing a gallery, a show list, and a commission note. Tattoo artists are showing a chair, healed work, and a booking rule.

Can I embed my Instagram feed?

No. An Instagram block is a link with the sentence you write. The feed stays on Instagram.
