Bento — objects that are not the same size

Identity, a lamp, a sentence, a link. The grid is justified because the pieces have different weights. A uniform grid of six identical cards is just a list with padding.

Why this works.

• The first card says what the practice is.
• Pictures and sentences share a surface without a slideshow.
• You can leave the grid later without rewriting the blocks.

Bento — projects as peers

Useful for several small shipped things. Worse when one project should obviously lead. If you keep scrolling to find the point, use Minimal.

Why this works.

• Each card is one project, not a fragment of a paragraph.
• The grid does not hide the contact path.
• It is still a personal page, not a dashboard costume.
